Free access and Premium

The SAT and ACT diagnostic and PSAT prep are free. All other SAT and ACT practice, including daily practice sets, study plans, practice tests and video lessons, requires Premium. Hourly Prep shows no ads.

You can use the free website skill check for personal study. Your answers remain in this browser for seven days. It checks a small selection of skills and is not a full diagnostic exam or an official score prediction.

The Premium one-year pass provides one year of access from the verified purchase date, for one student, with no automatic renewal. The US in-app price is $100; web checkout is $90, a 10% discount. Premium Monthly is $30 a month on the web and $35 a month in the app, and renews each month until you cancel. The local store price and applicable taxes are shown before payment. Sign in to the same student account on every device.

Agreement and eligibility

By purchasing or using Hourly Learning, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. A parent or guardian who buys Premium for a student must be at least 18. The service is intended for learners age 13 or older in the United States.

Students are responsible for their account information and activity. If you are under 18, get permission from your parent or guardian before making a purchase. Keep sign-in details private and tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.

Premium is for one student. Accounts and access may not be sold, transferred, shared between households, or used to provide a commercial tutoring service.

Payments and refunds

All purchases are final, except under our score guarantee. We do not otherwise offer refunds or credits for Premium, including for unused time, a partial month, a changed exam date, or a decision to stop studying.

You can cancel Premium Monthly at any time. Cancel a web plan in Premium on the web. Cancel a plan bought in the app in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions; App Store plans renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.

App Store and Google Play purchases are billed by Apple or Google under their own terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Score guarantee

Premium Seasonal bought on hourlyprep.com comes with a money-back score guarantee. If you finish at least 3 practice sets a day on at least 5 days a week for 12 weeks in a row, retake the same official SAT or ACT, and your score isn’t higher than your best official score from before you bought, we refund what you paid. In-app purchases and Premium Monthly aren’t covered. The score guarantee terms form part of these terms.

Educational service

Hourly Learning provides study plans, practice, progress estimates, and tutoring support. It does not promise a specific point increase, admission result, or scholarship. Score outlooks are estimates with uncertainty and are not official scores.

AI tutor responses can be incomplete or incorrect. They are learning aids, not official exam guidance. Learners should use the explanations to work through a question and report content that appears wrong or unclear.

Hourly Learning is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with College Board or ACT. Third-party names belong to their respective owners.

Acceptable use

You may use Hourly Learning for personal, non-commercial study. You may not:

• copy, scrape, redistribute, sell, or publish our question bank or software;
• share protected test questions or use the service to cheat on a live exam;
• probe, disrupt, bypass, or misuse security or access controls;
• use automated systems to extract content or overload the service; or
• use the tutor to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

Content and account action

Hourly Learning and its licensors retain ownership of the service, software, visual design, and original learning content. Your purchase gives the household a limited, personal right to use the service during the access term; it does not transfer ownership.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risk, nonpayment, or a material violation of these terms. We will provide notice when practical.

Service availability and liability

We work to keep Hourly Learning accurate and available, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, and Hourly Learning is not responsible for decisions made solely on a predicted score or tutor response. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version and effective date will remain posted here. Material changes apply prospectively.
