Are the 2028 SAT and ACT dates out yet?
Partly. College Board lists anticipated SAT dates through June 2028, and ACT lists projected dates through July 2028. Neither has posted registration deadlines or score release dates for them yet, and no fall 2028 dates are out.
When is the SAT in 2028?
College Board’s anticipated spring 2028 SAT dates are:

That follows the same March, May and June pattern as spring 2026 and spring 2027. There is no SAT planned for January, February or April 2028.
When is the ACT in 2028?

ACT notes that projected test dates are subject to change. Its regular registration deadline has recently fallen about five weeks before test day, so expect to register for the February 26 date in January 2028.

The 2027–28 school year opens with these fall dates. Registration deadlines for them aren’t posted yet either.

When is the PSAT in 2027 and 2028?
College Board hasn’t posted a fall 2027 PSAT/NMSQT window yet. The fall 2026 window runs from October 1 to October 30, with each school choosing its own day. The spring 2027 PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9 window is March 1 to April 30, 2027.
A testing timeline for the class of 2029
If you’re in 10th grade during 2026–27, you’ll likely graduate in 2029, and 2028 is your main testing year. One way to plan it with the dates published so far:
